The album version of LAMENT should be heard as a studio reconstruction of a work primarily designed to be performed live, rather than an official new Einstürzende Neubauten LP proper. In truth, the piece can only be fully realised, as well as best experienced, in its physical embodiment, performed on or by founding member Andrew Unruh’s gigantic instruments and noise.

This really is an awesome album.I saw the band when they toured Lament, stage draped in army rope/canvas sheeting. Man of Two Worlds(non single track) was always my fave, very galbergrencalatasasumjuawellupe.co overall the album does not have a bad galbergrencalatasasumjuawellupe.co,the song is a beautiful ballad,on a par with Vienna and Visions In galbergrencalatasasumjuawellupe.co China is a oft neglected classic, and ofcourse the hits Dancing WithTears In My /5(52).

Nov 18,  · The earliest track collected here is a new mix of their album Haus Der Lüge‘s title track, tracing recordings all the way up to ‘How I Die’ from ’s Lament album.. The track collection will be released via Potomak on 25th November as both heavyweight and standard double vinyl editions.

A document of a work designed to be performed live, and not an "official new Einstürzende Neubauten LP proper" according to the band itself, Lament is still a staggering work of soul-crushing genius, a work where a veteran idiosyncratic band takes on a broad topic and communicates myriad emotions while landing on the beneficial end of "art for art's sake.".
